I had my 1986 Mercury Cougar XR-7 (turbo4) stolen and joy rided in for 400+miles (odometer). It was recovered a week later, with everything in tact. Nothing of value was stolen or 'damaged'.But it felt VERY wierd driving the car after getting it back. It never was the same enjoyable experience for me. It was like *I* was violated by these thieves. It was just a terrible feeling, even though it was the same car. I ended up selling it for what I owed on the loan about 5 months later. Thats when I bought a Joop. Have I told you about my joop?
